New Rules Announced for Binance PRAI Token Generation Event

After initial news of the upcoming Privasea AI (PRAI) Token Generation Event (TGE) broke, Binance Wallet has now issued a crucial update—tightening access through newly defined Alpha Points requirements. The two-hour TGE window, set for May 14 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM UTC, will now be gated by specific user engagement metrics tied to Binance’s loyalty-based Alpha Points system.

This update marks a notable shift in how token launches are being handled on the platform, suggesting a pivot toward exclusive, reward-based participation frameworks.

Who Gets In: The Updated Criteria

According to the announcement by Binance Wallet’s official account, only users who meet one of the following two criteria will be eligible to join the PRAI TGE:

• Hold 198 or more Alpha Points, or
  
• Hold between 162 and 197 points and have a Binance UID ending in the digit 0
  

While high Alpha Point holders are directly cleared, the second condition adds a layer of randomness, sparking mixed reactions within the community. The combination of loyalty points and UID-based filtering is seen by some as an attempt to limit bot activity or reward long-time users. However, it also raises questions about transparency and fairness in token distribution.

Users must also confirm their participation on the Binance Alpha Events page, where 15 Alpha Points will be deducted upon registration.

40 Million PRAI Tokens at Stake

This TGE will feature an exclusive allocation of 40,000,000 PRAI tokens, set aside for those who pass the eligibility filters. As PRAI is the native token of Privasea AI—a project focused on decentralised AI infrastructure and privacy—the launch has drawn notable attention, especially among early adopters.

However, this latest access model may redefine how desirable these presales appear. Many new or less-engaged users may find themselves locked out, despite strong interest.

Community Reactions: Innovation or Barrier?

The response has been mixed. Some users see the Alpha Points system as a fair way to reward ongoing participation in the Binance ecosystem. Others argue that such mechanisms introduce unnecessary complexity and favour platform veterans, effectively sidelining newer entrants.
